主観的ライナーノーツ④
どうも！！
今週も忘れず第４弾です！
よいしょ！！
#5 小さな木のしたで
作曲 Shige 作詞 ARI
今 Ignites 楽曲の中で
一つの柱となる曲だと思います。
通勤の地下鉄でふとコード進行というか
音が思い浮かびまして、
早速デモを作ったのがきっかけです。
なので
仮タイトルは『御堂筋』でした（笑）
ほんでもって
ARI にお願いして、
そのデモに歌を乗っけてもらったわけです。
その後送られてきた仮歌のデモを
聴いた時の衝動は今でも覚えています。
素直にとてもいい歌だなぁと。。。。。
仮歌に刺激されサビのコード進行で
イントロを組み立てたいなと
思案している中、
ギターでモチーフになる
フレーズが出てきました。
ちょっとノスタルジックな雰囲気を
出したかったので、
軽い歪みにオクターバーという
エフェクターで味付けして
この曲の看板ができたのです。
ボーカルを立てつつ、空間というか
立体感を出したかったので、
ギター音色はずっと試行錯誤の連続でした。
ソロも気持ち込める感じです。
一音入魂！
どの曲でもそうですが、
特にこの曲への
key & chorus の参加は影響絶大で
飛躍的にスケールの大きな楽曲に
成長させてくれました。
Goemon
のDrも新境地に入ってますし
Ba hoshi
とのリズム隊
コンビネーションも良い感じです
メンバー皆が曲に入りこんで
演奏してる感じで、
とても身の置きやすい曲です
『小さな木のしたで』は、
力を抜いて 音に体を委ねる感じで
楽ぅ～にして聴いていただければと思います。
忘れていた昔の良い思い出なんかが、
ふっと出てきたりするかも！？
